Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan has passed amendments to the Sports Industry Development Act to combat ticket scalping. The revised law imposes fines on scalpers ranging from 10 to 50 times the ticket’s face value. The use of ticket-buying bots will be met with up to three years’ imprisonment and/or fines up to NT＄3 million.
